Wonder why your sweatshirts have that V stitch in the front? The origin of this construction was intended to absorb sweat by using a different swatch of material than the garment itself, to serve as a little sponge for when you’re active. Mmm..yummy. The sweatshirts featuring the V stitch today only use it as a decoration.
